hello, i have been an extreme fan of the halo series i still have the original combat evolved with an absolutley flawless case and disc. recently as you know the halo anniversary has came out and woudn't you know it they are have supposed to have goone all out. i want to purchase the game but im not sure if its worth it i feel that the only means for me buying would be the enhanced campaign experience is the multiplayer good

So the biggest differences are a new graphic and hidden skulls and terminals in the campaign.
The multiplayer is the reach one with different settings to come as close as possible to the CE one.

SO if you're a Halo fanatic who wants to own every single game and stuff and ready for searching for all the new goodies I would say buy it.
I bought it because I don't have the original CE and to get the maps.

If you don't care about skulls and new graphic, I would say don't buy it. Since you still have the Original.
You can still watch all the terminals on youtube and buy the new maps on the marketplace to play them in MM.

It's just a texture and graphic update. It looks one hell of a lot better than the original, but everything's the same in the long run. Except yeah the terminals and Skulls. But the Skulls are the only thing that could actually change anything from the original to CEA.

It personally wasn't worth the $40, but I'm a collector and 'fanatic' and needed the pre-order codes to have in my collection, and the maps were just an awesome bonus.

If you want the game just to play it, I would wait until H4 comes out and then buy it used from Gamestop or somewhere like that when the price drops a little more. No need to spend big bucks.

For a collector and fan yes, if not afraid not.
