Cheap alternative to Xbox 360 wireless network adapter?
I have personally always used an ethernet cable to connect to Xbox live but in my current living arrangement, my Xbox will have to be way too far from the router. I really don't want to have to spend $80-$100 dollars on a wireless network adapter. Are there any other cheaper reliable ways to connect wirelessly to Xbox Live?
Thank you, Spreetard

Re: Cheap alternative to Xbox 360 wireless network adapter?
It's close enough to use an ethernet cable but it would be going through the hallway but I just moved back in with my mom temporarily and she's not so down with the ethernet cable going through the hallway. I'm kinda thinking about connecting wirelessly via my laptop but I'm not sure how great the connection will be. If I have to deal with all sorts of lag I don't feel like it would even be worth doing that.

Ha yeah that's kinda what I'm thinking. Do you know how well it works? Like will I be getting bloodshots galore with the snipe or anything? lol

It's basically adding another router to your setup. It may induce some lag but shouldn't be too bad. I have 2 routers in my home network, but they are hardware routers not Windows internet connection sharing. About all you can do it test it out.

Always look on Craiglist.com first. I found many things on there for cheaper than you can get online or on eBay.
I got one of those dual things listed above for $40 when it was priced way higher a few months ago.
