Just wanted to say Happy 2nd Anniversary! Been a crazy 2 years around here, even with my bit of 'time off' so to speak heh.. We're still around, still getting bigger, even with the fall of the API things still rock around here. I may not play Halo as much anymore if at all.. but doesn't stop me from coming back here and hanging out with the people. So, it is time for me to release my view of HTR Members then and now.. the Vet Edition.
(To anyone I forget.. don't be mad.. I just don't now you well enough, or can't simply think of what to say, or simply forgot.. it happens. :) no hard feelings)
Maude: yep you're first. Why? Because we share a very close and special friendship. When I first met you, it was way back on the other site.. I thought right away, this is a person I can share a lot with as our interests are just there. And 2 years later here on HTR, much more things have been shared and will never be forgotten. I've seen you come up through the ranks into being a Mod.. I've not been more proud of ya. Well deserved.
Xorth: Well.. jeesh what can be said here. When I first met you, I'll admit, I thought well.. this guy here must be sour over something.. starting his own site.. but I went along, and gave it time, sure we butted heads.. we still do.. but there are times where we do have mutual interests though rare.. and have great conversations. Now I look at it, he had a great idea.. and really made something of it. No matter our battles day to day.. I've nothing but respect for you, regardless of what I might say when I'm pissed off.
Blinkz: You hooked me up with that wireless adapter for my xbox after I moved back to my parents place after the divorce I went through so I could get on xbox live.. that was truly a nice thing for you to do. And you sent it without even asking for money for it. Though we too.. have our arguments I still think of you as a good friend. Even though I couldn't fully download the Halo 2 Vista.. you did give me the source for it. I thank you for the attempt. :)
Jerk: Your name says it all. LOL just messing. You've helped me time to time as well. though sometimes you're an blam! to boot.. It just comes from all the years we've known each other.. sometimes some things bother me far more than they should... things go back to how they were soon enough.
Daddy: Oh you... heh.. you and your persistent ghey jokes. yea they get pretty annoying sometimes, but it is your sarcastic nature. sometimes I can deal with it, sometimes not.. but you do have a unique sense of humor. That hasn't changed over the last two years,. though now I've more respect for you than I did way back when you know where.
Markus: Ever insightful. A true friend then, still so now. You're a great person to debate and converse with.
Monkey: You've helped me out a few times as well, and I thank you for that. :D Keep them tires on the asphalt bro.
DXR: I still don't know you well, but you've become a fast HTR Friend, and more friends are always a good thing. :D
