Cigarettes: You buy a pack for 3-6 dollars. In that pack you have [x] amount. You smoke [x] amount per day. You get done smoking all of them and you go out and repeat. The reason, the reason is your own. The effect? A buzz, social time with friends, being "super cool," making people "happy"(peer pressure is retarded). The side effect? Other than taking all of your money, A.) An early grave B.) Smokers cough C.) Cancer D.) blam! up throat/voice E.) Yellow fingernails F.) Your stench is horrible G.) I'll just stop right there though. Everyone and their moms know the list goes on and on, but addictive is a good word to stop on because to me it's a load of blam!. If you can overcome it, then is it really addictive? To most people nowadays, addiction or something being addictive or you being addicted, simply put, means you have to have it. How many times have you heard that before? Addiction = have to have it. It should really be the new definition, but I came across this definition and my oh my does that sum everything up. I don't think there's 1 positive thing on that whole page, everything is negative. Point being, nothing good comes of it, so why the blam! do you do it.

In all actuality, my friend smokes. My best friend that I've known for 10 years, half my life, has been smoking for the past 5 years or so. I think it's one of the stupidest decisions she has ever made and I can only fear the worst. She got into it because she was popular, had a rough home life, and fell into peer pressure. My other best friend who I've known for 8 years smokes too, and he thinks he's cool. My brother does it just to deliberately make his lifespan shorter. My sister and her fiance do it because of another blam! reason which, by looking at everything, is just as blam! stupid as every other reason.

But out of all of this, what will change? Who knows.

I don't smoke. Never have. Never wanted to. That extends to all recreational drugs as well.... And Coffee.

Used to smoke cigs and weed, just quit cigs recently and now i only have weed maybe once or twice a month.

I a not a quitter, so instead I have decided to retire from smoking.
