If they do this like they did CE what do you guys think?? I hope they remake it just because its a amaizing game n deffntly want to beat up on some lil kids in it again.

If they do a remake of Halo 2. I'm gonna want a multiplayer that is exactly like the original multiplayer down to every single super bounce and every little place you can get out of the map in. Except with better graphics of course and possibly a 3D option too. Even though playing Halo CEA in 3D gave me a headache.

I heard about this too. I heard quite some time back that it was rumored that there will be a Halo 2 remake, but in all honestly, I felt that the original Halo game is the ONLY one that deserved to be remastered. THAT was the game that started it all. :P

Then I did hear that 343i is not doing a Halo 2 remake and that they are too busy with other things right now.

If it's just a graphic update with the ability to play, and play  on, the new XbL, sure thing. I also wouldn't actually mind if they removed superbounces or the button glitches because hey, those were cheap anyway and with everybody knowing them and doing them then H2 wouldn't feel the same anyways. So if they were to remove all of that, I would be pleased. But if they tried to make it their own game and change up things that they shouldn't, then blam! them, I don't want a remake.

H2 would be a weird remake. People would love it to be left as the original was, and people would hate it because of all the unfair and game changing glitches. I don't think I would mind to much if it was one way or another, but it would be fun to be able to play H2 how H3 played, minus the additions H3 had. So you see, how exactly would they remake H2 so that it would sell? Because in all reality, that's all they care about. Would they keep it the original or would they fix what was needed to be fixed, or would they remake it and add their own tweaks?

With all of that said, I really don't think an H2 remake is coming out, at least not anytime soon.

Yes Halo CE started it all but it was H2 that started the MM that we all have come to love n enjoy.

Yes. I would love a H2 remake. I think Halo 2's online and storyline were the best of any Halo game yet, and I really want to play H2 with friends!

Please do NOT make a Halo 2 remake. I will tell you why:

1. A Halo CE remake was the most logical game in the Halo franchise to "reboot". It served as a way to reintroduce people to the Halo franchise for the 360-genners who might have played H3 but no CE. Halo CE is what gave the Original Xbox its teeth, its fighting chance [if you will] against Sony and Nintendo consoles. It really is the game which propelled Xbox to its original success, so there was a slight obligation to remake it and push it out for profits-sake.

2. A Halo 2 "Anniversary" multiplayer does not make any logical sense if you think about it. 343 is about to release Halo 4, their first MAJOR game with a full multiplayer and campaign. What good does it do for 343 if they release a Halo 2 Anniversary with multiplayer shortly after they release Halo 4? It would steal everyone who's playing Halo 4, a game they built from the ground up, and everyone would henceforth switch to Halo 2.

3. Halo 2 is not as special as Halo CE (as some people seem to believe). There, I said it. While Halo 2 is vastly considered a better game than CE, CE was revolutionary - worthy of the remake and credit as the foundation for Halo 2. Therefore, Halo 2 does not deserve a remake.

4. This would create a vicious cycle for the Halo franchise. Are they going to release a Halo 3 remake for the next Microsoft console? If 343 releases a new game/remake every year or two, it becomes Call of Halo.

In conclusion: Everyone who has played video games probably has their fondest memories from playing Halo 2. Those memories should remain simply that. Think of something that you really enjoy doing, or that you used to enjoy doing. The more you play it, especially now, 7-8 years later, the more your fond memories start to fade away in favor of the new hotness. We can't keep trying to scale backward for what we used to love doing. Halo 2 should remain unmolested in its mighty and glorious pedistal.

from halo CE to Halo 2 thare almost diffrent games all together ce had no duel wield a diffrent pistol the ar and no jump ability to speak of not to mention no banshee when you play ce multiplayer verses h2 they was almost completly diffrent the campaign pretty much only had enemies that looked alike and played completly diffrent,  from halo 2 to 3 you can see they kept the game close to 2 but with more additions and smoother coding

say im dumb all you want this is just a opinion

as long as they dont mess with the music because halo 2 has the best music ever written and i don't want 343 messing with it like they did CE
