If you have played Invasion you probably gotten EMPed while being in a vehicle, it's infuriating as you roll out with a new tank and you are EMPed immediately followed by stickies. If BTB ends up being like this then I can assure you that it will pretty much end vehicle combat as we know it. For those of you who think BTB will be just fine think about Invasion, only one team spawns with PP and it nearly ruins vehicle combat for humans. Being saved since elites don't have DMRs. Now think about Halo 4 BTB both teams can spawn with DMRs and PP and Stickies. Vehicles will become death traps, and almost entirely abandoned in Matchmaking within weeks after launch.

The only way we can save BTB is by eliminating the vehicle EMP function of the PP.

i see myself rage quitting halo 4 because of the sticky/pp spawn blam!. the two things that irritate me the most, they decide to let you spawn with them -.-

I think it will be cool it will actually challenge u yo be good with a vehicle and actually give u a chance so ppl dont just use run in vehicles the whole game

now the bad btb kids wont be able to spawn ill using vehicles and insist they are good

its perfect for those who get spawn killed non stop, at least they have a chance now to maybe get away or take down some vehicle nub, you just gonna have to work harder for your kills now :)

think how they feel when all that happens to them when they spawn is getting banshee bombed over and over again by people who rely on vehicles to get kills.

BTB will be just fine and people will learn other ways to get there kills, in Halo 3 its all people did when they saw someone in a banshee and guess what, we learnt how to fly the banshee properly to avoid these people.

I really don't think that'll ruin BTB. Just have to adapt and move on. If you don't like BTB anymore play something else that doesn't have the P shooter or stickies. So Grifball or SWAT.

i doubt that you will be able to spawn with plasma pistols in BTB when the full game is released, unless vehicles are less immune to them or there something else to balance the weapon out, e.g. less accurate, longer charge time, shorter EMP blast

It has already been said that the overcharged pp will be less accurate as they toned down the semi-guidance.

I think they'll probably remove the PP or nerf it badly so this doesn't happen.

As for the OP, I don't know....I've played a fair amount of Invasion and I've never had an issue with Plasma Pistols.

geez its not that hard to avoid it when say your in a Banshee.

It will only ruin btb if the only way you can get kills in btb is use vehicles. Everyone else will be fine. I'm sure people who go for the objective will love this cause we all hate it when its 1 bomb or 2 flag on hemorhage and there is like 2 guys camping in the base with shotguns...

Well that's your opinion. Not all people will run around shooting vehicles with plasma pistols. People will still want to go for more high powered weapons.

the only time i get PP is when the enemy is super blam! close so if they toned down the guidance i dont think we have anything to worry about

I believe if this is a must too happen they will truely tone down the blast, more of an edge but not just make it where vehicle combat is completely abandoned......Hopefully ha
