With the amount of power weapons i have seen which are coming up in the game, i dont think u should be worried about the PP

PP ruin BTB? It will ruin anything on a small map as well cuz everyone will noob combo!

There's also the specialization that allows vehicle drivers to slightly resist the effects of EMPs... I don't remember what the name of it is though.
