Welcome to the 2nd HaloTracker.com Community contest!

To help the site grow we decided to run out second site participation and advertisement contest.

The rules are rather simple and the Grand prize raffle will be a brand new Xbox 360 slim with Kinect!

The Contest will run from January 21, 2011 through February 21, 2011.  That give you a month to rack up points.  

There will also be runner up drawings which can include anything from microsoft points, subscription cards, etc.

Anyway the contest will comprise of different aspects of site usage, gameplay and site promotion in which you will earn credits for these.  Below is a list of points to be collected. PLEASE BE SURE TO FOLLOW ALL RULES! YOU MUST SIGN UP TO BE IN THIS CONTEST!

Registering for the Contest

Will net you 5 points total (one raffle ticket) towards the contest, it is that simple.

Forum Usage

1) Each time you receive a credit in the forum for a good post.  You will receive 1 credit towards your total contest score.
2) You will also  receive .1 point per post in our forums towards your total contest score.

Challenges

Every HTR Challenge you submit and is accepted you will receive 2 points

Community Files

1) Every time you comment on someones Forge Map, user video etc. you will receive 1 point.
2) Every time you add a Forge Map, user video, screen shot etc. you will receive 1 point

Excessive "Good Job" Posts or 90 votes a minute will be detected and you will be disqualified.

Site Promotion

1) For referring someone to the site you will receive 2.5 points towards your total contest score. 2 referrals = 1 raffle ticket
2) If you use a halotracker.com signature on another site you will receive 2 points per site towards your total contest score.
3)(Please read note below first) Mentioning halotracker.com on another site will net you 2 points per mention as well.  In order to prove you had mentioned halotracker.com please post your thread mention in this thread so we can check on it.

 ***Note: Please do not spam other sites as we will be checking and if found to be an annoyance we will remove you from the contest.  If mentions of this nature are not acceptable on a site please do post or you will be disqualified from the contest.  In short, please be smart about this and only ONE forum topic per forum/website will be accepted.  So spamming will only remove yourself from the contest not increase your score.   ***

Xbox Live Bio

Give a shout out to Halotracker in your primary Gamertag bio and get 5 points.  Post here that you did it.

Gameplay

This should be rather simple for all of you out there since we all dearly love Halo:Reach, just by playing Reach you will earn yourself points towards the contest. 

1)   For playing any MULTIPLAYER (including FF MM) playlist you will receive .0666 points per game.  
2)   For playing any Arena playlist you will receive .1 points per game.

In order for us to track your games played you MUST collect your "In-Depth Advanced Stats" 

Site Donations

As always we do not expect anyone to donate towards our community.  We do this for your guys but that does not mean we have bills.  If anyone was planning on donating this would be a good time to do so.  If you have donated in the past, all points will be retroactive for your donations.  

For every $1 you donate you will receive 3 points towards your contest total.  (minimum $5 donation)

Now after obtaining these credits they will all be totaled and traded in for "raffle entries".  It will cost you 5 credits for 1 raffle entry.  If you have 25 credits towards the contest.  This will give you 5 entries into the drawing to win the prizes.

Pretty simple right?

The way you register for the contest is by simply registering to the site and clicking the "SIgn Up Here" links.

Any attempts to cheat or boost these entries will result in immediate contest removal by the administrators or mods and swift kicks to the face will ensue.  (Probably not the last part)

As this is a free contest the Administrators reserve the right to deny anyone credits, or to compete in the contest.

I know the question will come up so I will just address here.  Credits can only be gained for site usage within the contest.  We will not back log your points to when you first registered for the site.

While using halotracker.com mentions on other sites, please be sure to follow all rules enforced by given site.  Halotracker.com is not responsible for individuals activity on other sites.

Btw this seems rather pointless: 1)   For playing any MULTIPLAYER (including FF MM) playlist you will receive .02 points per game.  
2)   For playing any Arena playlist you will receive .03 points per gam

So that is 2 credits for every 100 games played and 3 credits for every 100 games in arena.

Pretty cool that FF MM is included too though. But really 10 posts versus 100 games? lol

Sure count me in, with a little JTV exposure and various other things i do i could rack up some easy points.

But i have two questions before i start my own HTR campaign lol

- Will prizes be shipped to Europe. This includes runner up prizes that will need to be bought online so they actually work in Europe. (M$ points / Game time ect)

- Also you get points for playing Halo:Reach games which is fair enough i suppose, but what about Halo 3. I sold my Reach and i still get more views for my Halo 3 record then my Reach record regardless of being #1 on HaloTracker and Halocharts in the past. :)

1)Yes we will accommodate your geographic location to the best of our ability.

2) We are going to keep it for Reach Games played.  The idea is to try and help the population in some of our favorite Reach playlists.  We know its a "bad game" but we like it =).  

Shipping to Europe is no problem.
